Whitney joined the Foundation in September 2025. She directs the grantmaking and scholarship programs and ensures the Foundation’s grant programs are both proactive and responsive to current and emerging needs in the communities served. She is responsible for developing program initiatives, maintaining and executing the Foundation’s due diligence and related policies for grantmaking programs and procedures, ensuring effective technical assistance to applicants and grantees, and evaluating the impact of grant investments. She provides guidance to the advisory committees of various funds at the Foundation and leads evaluation of other funding initiatives.
