Scholarship Available for Plymouth Students going into Healthcare

Main Street Community Foundation’s scholarship program is currently accepting applications. New this year is the Plymouth Human Services Scholarship Fund for Healthcare Students. This scholarship was originally established when the Plymouth Visiting Nurses Association was closed years ago, and was recently transferred to the Foundation by the Town of Plymouth Human Services Commission.

A $500 scholarship will be awarded annually from this Fund to residents of Plymouth who are graduating seniors seeking financial assistance to further post-secondary education or career training in the healthcare field. This can include a healthcare program at a vocational school or community college in an allied health profession, or acceptance at a two-year or four-year college or university pursuing a degree in a healthcare program of study.

The deadline for all scholarship application submissions is March 8, 2024. A full list of available scholarships, their eligibility criteria, and links to the online application are available on the MSCF website: mainstreetfoundation.org/apply-for-scholarship.
