John & Bonnie Lodovico Family Charitable Fund

Established:
2025
Fund Type:
Unrestricted Community Fund

This fund was established by John and Bonnie Lodovico as part of a special match opportunity at Main Street Community Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Their generous donation was matched with a grant from the Money in Motion Fund at MSCF.

John and Bonnie were born and raised in Bristol, living in the Community for over 70yrs. John, as a combat veteran having served in the Vietnam War, has and continues to be involved in veterans’ affairs throughout the greater Bristol Community.

John and Bonnie strongly believe that wherever a person and/or family set roots in their community, then, if possible, there should be a responsibility on their part to give back to their community in some way. In many ways, throughout the years, they have and continue to support their community with acts of kindness and gratitude.

They believe this has made a positive impact on their daughters and their families; Chrystal and Adam Kozak, John & Ralph Kozak and Ashley and Matthew Sloate, Bensen & Lillian Sloate, who are educators within the school system and law enforcement.

Grants from this unrestricted community fund will support the emerging and changing needs of the communities served by the Foundation.
