This fund was established by Deborah Spooner as part of a special match opportunity at Main Street Community Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Her generous donation was matched with a grant from the Money in Motion Fund at MSCF.

Deborah is a 4th generation Bristol resident. Her great-grandparents (Spielman) were originally from Bavaria and raised their family on Chippens Hill. This fund was created to leave a legacy in the community that has been her family’s home for generations. It is the hope of Deborah and her daughters, Theresa-Ann and Jessica Pieri, that this fund will honor their family and continue to grow for years to come.

Grants from this unrestricted community fund will support the emerging and changing needs of the communities served by the Foundation.
