This fund was established by the Bristol Lions Club in 2022 with a bequest previously received from the estate of Mark M. Keating. This scholarship honors of the memory of Mr. Keating’s father, James J. Keating. A scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating senior from Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington or Wolcott who is classified as legally blind or visually impaired as defined by the Connecticut General Statutes. The student must be pursuing undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university.
