MSCF Elects Wolcott Resident Andrea Lanese to Board of Directors

Main Street Community Foundation is proud to announce the election of Andrea Lanese to its Board of Directors. Andrea is a Wolcott resident, born and raised, and is currently the Director of Global Talent Acquisition & Development for Barnes in Bristol. She is also an avid volunteer with organizations running the gamut of interests and motivations from the Girls Scouts of America to Relay for Life. Andrea will not only be bringing her perspective as a Wolcott resident, but will also bring her leadership and problem-solving skills to our Board and the local community.

Andrea is looking forward to joining the MSCF Board of Directors, saying that the Foundation’s core values of Excellence, Integrity, Inclusiveness, and Transparency align with the leadership attributes she champions in her career as a human resources leader every day. She continued, saying, “Giving back is part of my DNA and volunteering is a central component of my life. The Main Street Community Foundation is a perfect fit for me as it supports local communities that I am part of in both my work and home life in meaningful ways. Having grown up in this region and now working in the heart of Bristol, being a board member of the Foundation allows me to directly contribute to building the support systems that matter in my local communities.”

Board of Directors plays an important part in representing the communities MSCF serves when it comes to upholding donor intent and decision making. MSCF is grateful to all who volunteer and give of their time, energy, and unique skills to advance the Foundation’s mission.
