July 2026 - Published in: 2025 Annual Report - In order to make our communities a place where people have equitable and inclusive opportunities to prosper, people’s basic needs must be met. Several grants made in 2025 focused on funding programs that provide basic needs to community members who need the support. MSCF awarded a $1,000 grant from the Money in Motion Fund to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Bristol to support the purchase of diapers and adult personal care items. The Church operates a monthly food and diaper distribution that is open to the public, serving about 250-300 families monthly. The grant from MSCF helped to fund additional items needed due to the increase in families seeking assistance.
