Main Street Community Foundation Now Accepting Scholarship Applications

Students in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott are invited to submit applications for financial support from 100 scholarship funds administered by Main Street Community Foundation. These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors, current college students, and adult learners who are or will be attending two or four-year colleges or universities, career certification programs, or technical/vocational schools. There are also scholarships available for students attending private elementary and secondary schools in Bristol. The deadline for all scholarship applications is March 6, 2026 at 11:59 pm.

A full list of available scholarships, their eligibility criteria, and the link to the online application portal are available on the MSCF website: mainstreetfoundation.org/apply-for-scholarship.

Each scholarship has unique eligibility criteria defined by the donors who established the funds. Criteria can include items such as interests and career goals, academic achievement, financial need, and town residence. All applications are reviewed by a volunteer committee through a competitive, blinded application process, and recommendations on recipients are made to the Foundation’s Board of Directors based on the established criteria of each fund.
