Main Street Community Foundation Accepting Grant Applications for Programs Benefitting Men and Boys and Burlington Residents

Main Street Community Foundation (MSCF) currently has two grant cycles open:

  • Men & Boys' Fund
  • Burlington Community Fund

MSCF is accepting applications for grants distributed from the Men & Boys’ Fund. Nonprofit organizations with programs serving men and boys in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott are encouraged to apply. The goal of the grantmaking program is to provide funds for programs that make it possible for men and boys to improve the quality of their lives, increase self-sufficiency and make a positive difference in their community.

MSCF is also accepting applications for grants awarded from the Burlington Community Fund. Proposals from nonprofit organizations serving Burlington residents will be considered for charitable projects in the areas of community outreach, arts and culture, youth programs, education, health, human services and the environment.

The Online Grants Center can be accessed through the Foundation’s website, and includes the application, the full guidelines and eligibility criteria. Interested organizations should contact Kate Kerchaert, Director of Grants & Programs, at kate@mainstreetfoundation.org or 860.583.6363 for a preliminary discussion of their proposal at least 7 business days prior to the deadline. All proposals are due by 4 pm on August 27, 2021.
