Hurricane Relief Resources
Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria have brought unprecedented devastation to Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribeean Islands. The recovery is going to be long and hard and the communities are going to need help as they recover and rebuild.
Below are some of our colleagues who are helping those affected:
The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund was established at the Greater Houston Community Foundation by the Mayor of Houston and the County Judge.
The Miami Foundation has several funds for Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria relief efforts, including The Hurricane Relief Fund, US Caribbean Strong Relief Fund and the Irma Community Recovery Fund.
The Florida Keys Emergency Relief Fund was established at the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys to provide support to Florida Keys residents impacted by Hurricane Irma.
The Hurricane Maria Puerto Rico Relief Fund was established at the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain to support community action agencies in Puerto Rico who are assisting residents long after the emergency efforts end.
US Virgin Islands
The Fund for the Virgin Islands was established at the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands to provide immediate relief and support long-term community renewal efforts.
