Fund Established In Honor of Bristol Resident’s Commitment to the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol

Ron Burns has been an integral part of the Bristol community for decades. That is why it was natural for Geri Ann Bradley and her family, together with the Bradley Family Foundation, to honor her brother Ron with a named scholarship fund. The Ron Burns Community Leadership Scholarship Fund was established at Main Street Community Foundation to assist graduating high school seniors who are members in good standing of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol with post-secondary or technical education. A $3,000 scholarship will be available for the 2021-2022 academic year.

“We wanted to honor Ron’s tireless community leadership and commitment to the youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol,” said Geri Ann. Ron is the current Director of Continuous Quality Improvement at the Club and has been an avid volunteer there. “This scholarship will continue his legacy forever – helping this generation and future ones make a lasting impact on this community and the country.”

Applications are being accepted through March 12, 2021. To view all eligibility criteria and requirements, and to apply for the scholarship, visit MSCFScholarships.CommunityForce.com and search for the Ron Burns Community Leadership Scholarship Fund.
