COVID-19 Response and Recovery Grants

The COVID-19 pandemic drastically changed the world as we knew it. Schools shut down. Businesses shuttered. Events were cancelled.

Main Street Community Foundation (MSCF) responded by establishing the COVID-19 Response Fund in March of 2020. This Fund, together with other funds at MSCF, were used to help our local communities mobilize the necessary resources to support emerging needs in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott. MSCF also took on numerous leadership roles in those communities and continuously reached out to local organizations to listen to their concerns.

To date, over $1,000,000 in grants has been awarded to support COVID-19 response and recovery efforts. These were the most transformative grants that MSCF has ever awarded. An individual listing of these grants, from March of 2020 through December 31, 2021, is below:
