This fund was established by Bruce and Yanina Daigle as part of a special match opportunity at Main Street Community Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Their generous donation was matched with a grant from the Money in Motion Fund at MSCF.

Named for Plainville, where Yanina’s family’s story began, and Burlington, the Daigle family’s longtime home, this fund reflects a deep gratitude for the two communities that shaped their lives within the Main Street Community Foundation’s service area. For nearly 30 years in Burlington, the Daigles raised their three children in a close-knit community of friends, teachers, and coaches, with local schools and sports programs playing a central role in their family’s life.​

Grants from this unrestricted community fund will support the emerging and changing needs of the communities served by the Main Street Community Foundation, helping future generations in Plainville, Burlington, and the region experience the same sense of belonging, opportunity, and care that have defined the Daigle and Zielinski families’ connection to these towns.
