This year, Main Street Community Foundation is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Over the past three decades, MSCF has created a legacy of significant importance in the communities of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Wolcott that will continue for generations to come. Over $30 million in grants and scholarships have been awarded since 1995. This impact is due to the many individuals, families, and businesses that have partnered with the Foundation through the establishment of a fund or support of a local charitable cause.

On September 13, 2025, we reflected on our past and celebrated our successes at The Main Event 30th Anniversary Celebration – Meet Us On Main Street. The evening had an elevated hometown celebration atmosphere with fabulous food, roaming entertainment, live and silent auctions as well as a wonderful opportunity for all to join in a memorable celebration. Proceeds from the event support our community leadership efforts, also known as “Money in Motion,” as we work to create vibrant communities.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary, all attendees at the event participated in the selection of the recipients of ten Circa 1995 Grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000!

A total of $30,000 was awarded from the Bristol Savings Bank Fund to celebrate the Foundation’s 30th anniversary. Ten local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations were selected from an applicant pool and challenged with providing a vision for how their organization will make a difference in the next 30 years.
