Established through a bequest from the estate of Christian Arndt to support scholarships for Terryville High School students who show academic promise, particularly in the area of science. Although born in Germany in 1953, Christian and his family lived for many years in Terryville, where he pursued a wide variety of interests and went on to pursue a successful engineering career.
