Dear Friends and Associates:

The group of dynamic area non-profits listed below has been working collaboratively over the last two years to educate the citizens of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott in the area of planned giving. This group has named itself the Community Planned Giving Council. As part of our efforts during June, which has been named "Leave A Legacy Month" by Governor Jodi Rell, we are pleased to provide you with a new copy of our Non-Profit Guide, a directory of our members' charitable organizations, and the marvelous work each is doing.

Literally thousands of area citizens contribute to worthy causes each year and inquire about making planned gifts to their favourite organization. As you know, the way an individual makes these gifts can be a win-win situation for both the individual and their community.

As a respected professional advisor in our area, we're asking that you utilize the enclosed directory among individuals seeking advise on gifts to non-profits since we believe that your clients may ask you for information and advice on this topic from time to time.
