Mission Statement: The mission of the Connecticut Youth and Family Alliance is to support the missions of The Family Center and The Bristol Boys and Girls Club.

The purpose of the Connecticut Youth and Family Alliance is to engage only in charitable, educational and/or scientific activities for the purpose of upholding, promoting and furthering the welfare and activities of The Family Center and The Bristol Boys and Girls Club.

The affiliation of The Family Center and Bristol Boys and Girls Club brings the two organizations together under common management and provides for the retention of each Club's separate identity. Their individual characters and histories are preserved, but they are strengthened where common needs and programs can be shared. The Clubs will work together in areas such as fundraising, child care, finance and human resources. However, each organization will continue to provide its current programs with the intention of expanding the programs to members of both organizations.

The creation of the CYFA Development Office is an important step in securing grants and building donor relationships. The Director of Development is Whit Betts (whit@bbgc.org) and the Assistant Development Director is Mary Lynn Gagnon (marylynn@bbgc.0rg).
