Mission Statement: To supply, serve, strengthen, and house our neighbors in need.

The CFC/Storehouse provides groceries to over 170 families every Wednesday, and our soup kitchen serves approximately 250 hot, nutritious meals every Saturday and Sunday since we are the only soup kitchen open on the weekends. The CFC/Storehouse has been awarded the “Greater Hartford Hunger’s Hope award for two consecutive years by Foodshare, and has been Connecticut's largest food provider for the needy for seven years. During the week, we also give food and clothing to individuals and families in emergency situations, and accommodate referrals from other organizations as well. Other services provided free of charge are: counseling, support groups, clothing, and housing through the CFC/Carehouse for those that have exceptional needs and those that desire a life style change.

At the present time, we are commencing Phase I to renovate the third floor of our main facility to accommodate a Youth Center. Due to the influx of the many youth we are now serving in our community, there is a vital need for this, and we invite support of businesses and organizations in Bristol and surrounding towns to help us complete this project.
